These Wheel of the Year prints are a fantastic reference for the year's eight pagan holidays. You can display them, use them as part of a history or world religions topic, or add them to a diary. They are helpful for nature journaling, as the wheel is traditionally linked with agricultural events and the seasons.
Includes different designs: One design with dates for 2024, 2025, and 2026, and three designs for using any year - these show a date range (as the equinox and solstice dates vary). Print and use again and again.
The Wheel of the Year calendar (also called a sabbat or pagan calendar) represents the cycle of life and the Earth’s seasonal journey around the sun. It follows eight phases, each celebrated by a festival or 'sabbat day'. The eight points represent the lunar calendar equinoxes, solstices, and cross-quarter days. The wheel's eight festivals honour the practices of our Western European ancestors (mainly Germanic and Celtic). Many of us today find ourselves looking to their old ways, traditions and beliefs - seeking a connection to our earth that has unfortunately been lost in modern times.
