These printable weather wheel templates are designed to help children and adults record the weather, sketch the moon phases, and observe seasonal changes in the natural world. They are ideal for home education, nature journalling, weather study, moon study, seasonal learning, or simply building a gentle daily rhythm of looking closely at the world around you.

The set includes a wheel for each month of the year, including a February leap year version, plus blank templates for flexible use. Print them at home and use them again and again.

Each wheel is simple and flexible to use. In the little circles around the edge, you can sketch the moon phase each day, or use them to note temperature or another daily detail. The larger sections are perfect for drawing the day’s weather, such as sunshine, cloud, rain, frost, mist, wind, or storms. You can also add signs of the season, including blossom, berries, leaves, birds, insects, or anything else you notice outdoors.

Over the course of a month, the wheel becomes a beautiful visual diary. Children can begin to spot patterns, compare sunny and rainy days, notice how the moon changes, and see how the landscape shifts through the seasons.
