Absolutely lovely printables
Bought Yule, Samhain as well as two moon packs and they are all fantastic. I would highly recommend these to any age as they can be as complicated or simple as your child wishes to use them. I will certainly buy from this wonderful small business again in the future.

Such a wonderful resource
We have loved working through this lovely pack. We created a big noticeboard to show all the different aspects and have gone down many little rabbit holes of additional learning. It is incredible value.

Beautiful, educational and fun
Love the artwork, it really helps to engage my 7yo. The poems included are beautiful and ones I hadn't seen before, and the exploration of them is really accessible. The art and family projects were fun and easily done, and the information about celebrations around the world was really interesting. We have bought a few of these packs before and love the calm and natural vibes!

Foxes of field and folklore | Printable fox nature study and folklore pack
After exploring hares around Easter, I found myself wanting to create a fox pack next. I have always loved foxes. They feel so much a part of British hedgerows, twilight fields, summer evenings, and the edges of things.
Foxes of Field and Folklore is a gentle printable mini study exploring foxes through both nature and story.
Inside, you’ll find a thoughtful mix of fox facts, seasonal nature study, folklore, fables, world traditions, poetry, art study, creative prompts, sketching and quiet reflection. It is designed for families who enjoy learning through curiosity, observation, and the changing rhythms of the natural world.
This pack explores:
- the life of the red fox in Britain
- fox cubs, fox tracks, and signs to look for
- foxes in fields and towns
- foxes around the world
- why foxes appear so often in old tales and fables
- The Fox and the Crow fable
- fox spirits such as the kitsune, and other world folklore connections
- fox sayings and proverbs
- poetry study
- an art study based on a vintage fox etching
- how to draw a fox
- fox colouring-in sheets
- drawing, writing, research, and observation prompts and ideas
Like the hare pack, this is a smaller companion study that blends natural history with folklore, symbolism, and creativity in a calm, family friendly way.
It works well for:
- home education
- nature study
- summer topic work
- folklore and fables
- mixed-age learning
- gentle seasonal journaling

Thoughtful printables for curious families, rooted in nature, tradition, and real creative work.
Dartmoor Kin creates thoughtful, meaningful, digital printables. Behind every pack is a real person, and a great deal of slow, careful work that often goes unseen. These are independent resources created from scratch, inspired by real traditions, the natural world, and years of experience as a designer, writer, digital artist, and home educating mum.
I do sometimes use modern tools in my workflow, as many creatives now do, but the ideas, research, writing, design decisions, and shaping of these packs are mine. Some elements take an extraordinary amount of time to make. My phenology wheels and moon phase spinners alone took many hours to create in Adobe Illustrator.
Each pack is designed to offer something genuinely rich and lasting, with stories, folklore, crafts, creative prompts, activities, and cross-curricular learning for all ages. These are resources to come back to year after year. By choosing Dartmoor Kin, you are supporting small, independent creative work and helping keep thoughtful, resources like these available.
